Career Bio

Dr Dalma Demeter is an academic and a law professional with a truly international background in both civil and common law. A former solicitor and barrister, Dalma joined UC in 2010. She is teaching and researching in international arbitration and international sales law, is actively involved in law curriculum development and is the manager of UC's state-of-the-art e-Court. Combining teaching with practice, Dalma is also an international arbitrator and a founding partner of the Australasian Dispute Resolution Centre. She is also an arbitrator at the Willem C Vis International Arbitration Moot and a contributor to law reform inquiries in private international law, alternative dispute resolution and international trade law.
