Andrew Bailey has a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) degree from Flinders University, a Master of Arts (Economics) from Queens University, Canada and a Master of Business Administration from IMD Switzerland. Andrew has significant experience in business, commerce and public service. In the first part of his career, he worked on financial sector deregulation. This included being a staff member of the Campbell Inquiry into the Australian Financial System, and then carried over to the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Commonwealth Treasury. Following completion of his MBA, he joined the consulting firm, McKinsey and Company, and then spent well over a decade in telecommunications. This included senior roles at Optus and at Crown Castle Australia, a shared infrastructure operator. Most recently he has been the Interim CEO of the State Property Authority within the NSW Treasury. |
