Supervisor Registration
Professional, comprehensive and high quality supervision of all Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students is fundamental to a positive experience and successful outcome for all HDR students. Part 4 of the Gold Book describes the current policy on supervision as approved on 20 July 2009.
The Supervisory Panel
Each HDR student is supported by a supervisory panel, composed of at least two supervisors (the panel chair and a second supervisor), who must be registered as supervisors.
Supervisors are classified according to four (4) Supervisory Levels, which are based on supervisory experience, completion of Higher Degree by Research candidates and research activity.
