If you are paying by debit card or cash, please submit your application form at the Student Centre, Building 1, Level B, University of Canberra.

If you are paying by credit card, please come to the IELTS Registration Office, Building 16A, Wilpena Street, University of Canberra.

Fees for IELTS Test

*Please note the fee for a test date transfer has increased to $80

Test fee: $330

Cancellation fee: $80

Test date transfer fee: $80

Module change: $80

Additional Test Report Form fee (up to two institutions): $30

Photocopying of passport fee: $5

IELTS Materials

Official IELTS Practice Materials: $35

IELTS Top Tips book (Academic or General Training): $20

Please pay for these materials at the Student Centre using the Tax Invoice Form, and bring your receipt to the  IELTS Office in Building 16A to collect it.

Registration

You may register in the following ways:

If you are paying by debit card or cash, please submit your application form at the Student Centre, Building 1, Level B, University of Canberra.

If you are paying by credit card, please come to the IELTS Registration Office, Building 16A, Wilpena Street, University of Canberra.

Please bring your passport and a photocopy of the passport picture page, two recent colour passport photographs and the test fee. You can complete the application forms, pay and receive confirmation for a place in the test in one visit. If you have any questions regarding the test, please come to the IELTS Office in Building 16A where a staff member can assist you. Please note if you do not bring your own photocopy of your passport, a $5 administrative fee applies.

By mail - download the forms from our website, complete them and return them to us by post with two colour passport photographs,  a  photocopy of the photo page of your passport (with expiry date) and tax invoice with the test payment (cheque, money order or by providing credit card details) attached. Please note that money orders and cheques should be addressed to the University of Canberra.

Please go to the Test Dates page to check when our next available date is. Once you have registered for a test at our centre, you are  then eligible to go on our waiting list. Please contact us via phone or email if you wish to be put on the waiting list.
