The next available test date for General Training candidates is 11 October 2008.
- Postal applications are only accepted for the General Training module.
- Academic module is open for registration for ACT residents only.
- IELTS test registration fee is AUD$280 (effective from March 31, 2007). All necessary forms are available on our How to Apply page.
The Speaking component of the test is held on either the Friday afternoon before, or the Saturday afternoon, of the test day. As of August 2008, Candidates must be available and prepared to do their speaking test interview on either day. Test Candidates undertaking the one-day IELTS Intensive Pre-Test Familiarisation at the University of Canberra will be scheduled for their Speaking test on the Saturday afternoon of the test day.
The University of Canberra is the official testing centre for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Test in Canberra. You can take the IELTS Test at the University of Canberra throughout the year. Tests are conducted at least once a month, and more frequent tests are offered before the commencement of each semester.
The IELTS Registration Office is located in the Student Centre on Level B of Building 1, and the staff can assist you with your test enrolment and enquiries.
