PPP is the postgraduate direct entry pathway into the University of Canberra award courses.

Students may also enter the University of Canberra College Masters preparation program, the International Access Program (IAP), after 10 weeks of succesful study.

Duration

10 weeks from IELTS 6.0 entry level (PPP1)

20 weeks from IELTS 5.5 entry level (PPP1 and PPP2)

Exit level: Equivalent of IELTS 6.5 for entry to University of Canberra award courses.

Availability and Prerequisites

PPP 1 is available as a 10 week course, prior to the commencement of the PPP 2 program of each year.

Students entering this course must have achieved an adequate level of English language proficiency in a recognised English language test such as IELTS or TOEFL tests.

An IELTS score of a least 5.5 or equivalent is normally a prerequisite for this course, except where advanced standing has been allowed on the basis of previous study in the ELICOS program, and /or following appropriate placement and diagnostic testing.

This course is the first stage of a direct entry pathway for international students who require minimum English language entry requirements in order to commence a Masters program within the University of Canberra, but have not yet attained a high level of proficiency in English and a firm awareness of the culture that encompasses the language. Students entering this course will have already completed an undergraduate degree.
