This document has been drafted for offshore teaching. Report of the Working Party to Review the Postgraduate Program (Shaping the Future of Advanced Professional & Research Studies at the University of Canberra)
From 2005 the University is introducing a new format for Unit Outlines. The new format is designed to be a more concise document which will be simpler for staff to produce and result in more consistency across the University.
To facilitate implementation of the new format, a Word template has been produced which can be downloaded below together with a guide on how to complete the template.
What was previously referred to as Subject Outline Part 2 will now be contained in two separate documents.
Links to these documents are embedded in the Unit Outline template. In addition they are given on the Unit Outline Index Page and the documents will also be available in hard copy format throughout the University.

This framework is both a guide to effective teaching for staff and a public presentation of the central role of learning in the life of the University. It also includes assumptions about teaching and leaning, expectations for good practice, and the desired attributes of UC graduates.
