Barbara Pamphilon

Dr Barbara Pamphilon brings to her community development work a long time interest in qualitative research methodologies. Over the past 3 years she has developed new group work approaches to consultation , for example that use narrative work that enable groups to consider and utilise the multiple socio-cultural influences on their individual experiences. Her recent work includes projects for Commonwealth and ACT Health which enhance the role of consumers in service design and delivery, the development of a manual on narrative group work, the Neighbourhood Futures Project and the community consultation phase of the Belconnen Lakeshore Refurbishment project.
