study programs
The University of Canberra College provides programs that will:
- assist students who do not qualify for direct
entry to the University of Canberra. These programs will prepare students
for study at, and qualify them for, entry to the University
- prepare students who have gained direct entry
to the University but who feel assistance is needed for particular
subjects.

The programs available are:
- The International
Access program is for international students who wish to study
selected Masters degrees. Applicants must have achieved 6.0 in the
IELTS (Academic).
- The Diploma
program is for international students and Australian students
who wish to improve their English and prepare for entry to the University
of Canberra. Students study for a diploma that will allow entry to
the University in the second year of an undergraduate degree.
- The UC-START
program is for Australian students who wish to gain entry to
the University of Canberra by studying two subjects of a degree instead
of a full subject load. If both subjects are successfully completed
in one term then students will be considered for admission to the
University for the remainder of the degree.
- The UC-PREP program is
for mature age Australian students who wish to prepare for study at
the University of Canberra. You will learn how to study so that you
will be well prepared when you enrol in the University of Canberra.
- The UC-PREP
(PG) program is specifically for postgraduate students who have
not studied for some time and are looking for postgraduate foundation
study skills and ongoing support to prepare for postgraduate study.
- The UC-CONNECT
program is for Australian recent school leavers who wish to upgrade
their study skills and prepare for tertiary study. You have to be
at least 18 by the time you enter the University.
- The Special Studies (Summer
School) program is for Australian or International students
who want to study a single unit.
- The Chemistry
Preparation program is for students who wish to upgrade their
chemistry knowledge and skills to allow them to study chemistry as
a subject in their degree at the University of Canberra.
