General IT Training
Currently we are very busy with Moodle training. General staff IT training (Office programs, graphics, etc) will resume in April.
Moodle
Moodle has replaced WebCT as the LearnOnline platform at the University of Canberra.
Create a new Moodle
To have a new Moodle site with students created for your unit, you can fill in the form at:
http://learnonline.canberra.edu.au/integ/callista.php .
This form creates the site for a particular unit with automatic student upload. There are directions and a video on the training site if you need more help with this.
The Moodle Instructors Site is presented as a Moodle site
This site should help with many of your questions. It contains documentation and videos on how to do many Moodle tasks.
All staff automatically have access to this site through myMoodle. The site can also be accessed directly through: http://learnonline.canberra.edu.au/course/view.php?id=202.
The Moodle Matters site may also be of interest to you. It can be found at: http://learnonline.canberra.edu.au/course/view.php?id=203.

This help consists of:
- Workshops and documentation about workshops. The first workshop to sign up for is Survival. Others include: Forums, Assignments, Grades, Quizzes and more will follow.
The workshops and information about them are advertised on the website http://www.canberra.edu.au/tlc/td/registration and bookings can be made on that site. Workshop documentation and videos are available on the Moodle Training site. - Drop-in help: No appointment is needed, just stop by 1C82 during drop-in times (currently Wed and Thurs 3-5pm)

Service Desk in Building 10 (passwords and computer support)
The staff at the Service Desk deal with password issue, technical issues and browser support for staff and students. The Service Desk also provides general help to staff for computer problems not related to LearnOnline (Moodle). They can be contacted on 6201 5500 or servicedesk@canberra.edu.au.
