Introduction to Tertiary TeachingThis is the first and compulsory unit in the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (GCHE). As well as being on offer to GCHE students, this unit is also required study for staff teaching at UC with less than two years’ teaching experience in post-secondary institutions. Leadership in Higher EducationThis series of seminars and informal discussions on issues in Higher Education and leadership is supported by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council and will incorporate local and interstate leaders in Higher Education in Australia. The conception of leadership in this seminar series is not necessarily aspiration to senior management. It also includes the ability to see beyond everyday activities and initiate positive change at unit, course, discipline or institutional level.
