How Can You Participate?

Funding is available to support up to ten faculty-based WIL incubator projects.
The aims of these projects are to:

  • Develop faculty-based capacity and systemic change in the area of WIL;
  • Recognise and value interdisciplinary differences and similarities in relation to WIL;
  • Promote interdisciplinary collaboration within Faculties in WIL; and
  • Promote systematic processes for Faculty engagement with the ACT region and beyond.

Each Faculty-based WIL Incubator Project will be funded up to $30,000. At least one project will be funded for each Faculty. These projects must be implemented and evaluated during 2010; there will be no opportunity for extensions of funding.

Proposals for funding from the Faculties should address the criteria listed below. Project proposers are encouraged to build on previous research and ALTC projects (visit the ALTC exchange at: http://www.altcexchange.edu.au/category/learning-and-teaching/work-integrated-learning)

Applications will require endorsement from the relevant Faculty Dean, with a comment on the value of the project to the Faculty’s operational plan.

The closing date is COB Monday 30 November 2009.

Please submit applications to Jenny Coggins, WIL Project Coordinator, 1D124A, or via email jenny.coggins@canberra.edu.au.
