Getting help with computers
Other students are often good people to go to for help with computing.
The Computer Helpdesk in Building 10 is excellent at trouble-shooting specific problems.
Study skills advisers in the Learning Resource Centres or the Academic Skills Centre can also help to build your skills.
Getting a password and using e-mail at UC
You need a student user password. This will allow you to
- use computers anywhere at UC.
- set up a printing account
- access your e-mail account
- get information about your results through OSIS (the Online Student Information Service).
Using computers for research
