Below you will find the Study Abroad and Exchange Application form and additional information that will assist you in the process of applying and preparing for your study abroad or exchange semester.  Please make sure to notify your home university before applying for any additional application procedures they may require.

  This form can be filled out online, signed electronically and sent with accompanying documentation to studyabroad@canberra.edu.au OR to the address given on the form. We prefer e-mail applications if possible. If you cannot fill out the form online, please print it out, fill it in by hand and scan it back in.

Application deadlines: October 15 for Semester 1 (begining in February) or March 15 for Semester 2 (begining in August).  Please contact the office if you need an extension. 

With your completed application form, you'll need to supply:

• official copies of all transcripts and qualifications
• colour passport sized photo
• typed statement of purpose
• academic reference
• certified copy of English Language Proficiency if required

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

Citizens from accepted English speaking countries will not need to provide additional proof.  If you have studied in an accepted English speaking country for at least two years senior secondary (high school) or one year tertiary (University) study in an English taught course, you can provide proof of this to fulfill the language requirement.  You can also meet the requirement by having studied at least two years tertiary study taught in English in any country (in a non-science area). 

However, if you do not fall into one of the above categories, you will need to provide one of the following:

• IELTS score of 6.5+
• TOEFL score of 79+
• Any other test listed in the English policy

Unfortunately, no other tests except those listed in the English policy will be accepted.
