Set on the lake shore and urban bushland, the University of Canberra is home to over 1000 UC students living in a variety of housing styles. Surrounded by native Australian gardens with kangaroos as frequent guests, the campus is just minutes away from the city centre. UC is a great place to experience Australian culture. When you are not in class you can laze on the lawn, or hang out at the refectory, the cafes or the bar. Use the computer labs (open twenty four hours a day), or study in the library. For the more active souls, you can use the gym, walk around the nearby lake or join one of the many sports teams. 'The Hub' is the commercial centre of UC where you can drink, eat, have your hair cut, do your banking, mail things home, buy your books, plan your travels around Australia and lots more. For more information on the University Campus, visit campus life on the UC website.
It was really nice experiencing studying in another country because it was so different from my home university. There are so many nice people that support you and help you extend your knowledge. It is definitely worth studying abroad." Stephanie Rieser, Germany

"The University of Canberra gave me insight into other teaching styles and studying methods. My home university had an agreement with UC and it looked like a great place to study so I decided to participate in the University of Canberra’s Study Abroad Program.
