It is an opportunity to expand your educational horizons; to step outside the boundaries of the expected curriculum and enhance your qualifications with an international perspective.

The University of Canberra (UC) is a young vibrant university with a focus on learning and creativity, as well as creating rewarding opportunities and positive outcomes for its students. UC has students from over 80 different countries worldwide. The University of Canberra is located in Australia's capital city, Canberra. Study abroad or exchange gives you the opportunity to attend UC for one or two semesters while gaining credit and increasing the value of your degree! If your university has an exchange partnership with UC, you can apply to come to UC on exchange, paying your home university's tuition.  Otherwise, you can always come via our study abroad program, paying UC tuition.  ApplyNow

UC also offers a short course: Australian Sporting Industry, 4-23 June 2012.

staphanie_dixonprofile"Living in Australia was a dream of mine since I was a kid, so with the idea of studying abroad and, thanks to God’s providence, I was able to hop on a plane and kiss Tennessee goodbye!

Studying at the University of Canberra was the experience of a lifetime!  Canberra was close enough to Sydney to take lots of trips, but in the bush enough to see kangaroos on campus!  The people I met and got to know in Australia made it the experience of a lifetime.  The folks I lived with and my fellow exchangers helped to make every moment unforgettable. Now they are friends that I hope to keep for the rest of my life.

Going out on my own to a new country helped bring about this kind of personal growth. I would love to have the opportunity to travel with a job in the future, so studying abroad is a great experience to have on my resume. I have already had interviews since I have come home and it is something that employers have been really excited to talk about with me.

Wherever life takes me, Australia will always be my first love."
