You could be eligible for a University of Canberra Scholarship. The University has a number of scholarships available to all students, including Postgraduate, Undergraduate, International and Indigenous students. Scholarships are available in all disciplines and are supported by community organisations, the Government and the University of Canberra.

More than a million dollars in scholarship money is available each year, and all applications are welcome. Scholarships are provided in recognition of academic excellence, research potential and some scholarships are provided to assist students in need. The University's 'Access'  Scholarship Scheme provides students from equity groups with $2,000 to spend on textbooks and learning materials. Last year 68 of these scholarships were awarded to University of Canberra students.

Scholarship application forms are available to download, and can be mailed or returned to the Student Centre in Building 1 when completed. Most scholarship applications close in March, with several open until September, please check the information on each individual scholarship for closing dates.

All students are encouraged to apply for University of Canberra scholarships. Each year $670,000 in scholarships is available to undergraduates, and $800,000 to postgraduates.

The Access Scholarships receive the most applications. Valued at $2000 each, they are offered to students who might otherwise not have the means to attend university, and who meet specified criteria. The services and amenities fee is also reimbursed.

Another six to eight organisations sponsor individual scholarships.
