MyUC Student Portal
Usercode and Password
You will need a student usercode and password to access this system. To obtain your usercode and password you will have to follow the steps outlined in either Option 1 or Option 2 depending on how you accepted your offer.
Option 1
If you accepted your offer online
You will have received your usercode and password as part of that process. You can now proceed to Step 3.
Option 2
If you are returning from intermission, or if you accepted your offer of place by submitting the acceptance in writing to the Admissions Office at Student Administration
(Please allow one working day for Student Administration to process your written acceptance before attempting to obtain your usercode and password).
To obtain your password please have your ‘Acceptance Advice Form’ with you in order to complete the following steps correctly:
1 - Phone the Computer Centre Help Desk between 9.00am and 4.00pm weekdays on (02) 6201 5500 and request that you be issued with a password.
2 - The Helpdesk Operator will ask you for specific information contained in your ‘Acceptance Advice Form’ in order to verify your identity.
3 - After verifying this information the Helpdesk Operator will issue you with your password.
4 - Once you have been given your password proceed to Step 3 of this Enrolment Information.
MyUC Access
MyUC allows you to view your personal information as recorded by UC. With MyUC student portal you can access your student e-mail and your library borrower record. You can also view your current enrolment details and academic history. It also enables you to register units, submit your preferences for tutorials, practicals, laboratories, etc, update your personal details including your address and course completion date.
Your Statement of Account/Invoice is accessed via MyUC. You need to use the Statement of Account to pay fees at any Australia Post (or online through postbillpay.com.au) PRIOR to the due date, Friday of week 1 or as per the date on your Statement of Account.
You can access MyUC using any web browser, such as Netscape or Internet Explorer. MyUC is protected against unauthorised access to your personal records and e-mail.
You may also need to obtain an electronic University Authority Certificate for your browser. This is already configured on most on-campus computers. If you need to configure this yourself see www.canberra.edu.au/uc/security/.
Once you have obtained your usercode and password you can access MyUC and a number of other Student Network Services. NB: Access will cease if you are on Intermission, or when you have Completed or Discontinued your course.
