ID Cards and Travel Concession

After you have registered your units, you may obtain a student ID card from the Student Centre. If you lose or damage your ID card, you will need to pay a $10 replacement fee. ID cards are issued for personal use only and should be kept secure. Any abuse of the access levels provided by ID cards could jeopardize your continued study at the University.

If you are a 'full-time' Australian student, and not engaged in any work, you may obtain an ACT/NSW rail travel concession at the Student Centre from February each year.

Note: Student ID cards are required to attend exams, borrow from the library or to access any facility requiring a proximity card.

The University and the Commonwealth Bank have partnered together to provide a new Student & Staff ID card, called the UC1 Card. The UC1 Card combines existing university card functionality with reloadable prepaid MasterCard functionality supported by the Commonwealth Bank. Additional information is available at http://www.canberra.edu.au/uc1card.
