Courses and Units
At the University of Canberra:
- Course means a course of study and instruction leading to an award. A course is made up of units of study, which may be grouped into majors or minors. Courses may be undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate.
- Award means a degree of doctor, master, executive master or bachelor or a graduate diploma, graduate certificate or undergraduate diploma that may be awarded by the University.
- Major and minor mean a set of sequential or related units that may be approved or required as part of the academic requirements of a course.
- Unit means a unit of study.
