Note: Experience has shown that many international students, despite passing one of the above English tests, still encounter difficulties with Australian English and with some aspects of the Australian method of learning. The University of Canberra offers international students a program of English language and academic skills classes on request. These classes can be undertaken by students during their first semester of study.
If students do not meet the English language requirements it is suggested that they consider undertaking a University preparation program at the University of Canberra College or an English language program at the University of Canberra's English Language Institute.
