Cross Institutional and Non-Award Applications

Cross Institutional refers to studies undertaken at one institution to satisfy part of the academic requirements of a course in which the student is currently enrolled at another institution.

External Applicants Applying to UC

For example, a student currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts at the Australian National University, wanting to study Spanish subjects at UC (to count towards their degree at the ANU) would apply for Cross-Institutional Studies (Undergraduate).

All applications MUST have approval from the home institution. Applications will not be processed until approval is granted and the form has been completed correctly.

UC Students Applying to an External Institution

Do not use the form below. You must contact the external institution and apply with their Cross Institutional form. Before submitting you need you bring the form to the UC Student Centre to have it signed off.

Non-Award Applications

This allows students the opportunity to study subjects outside the structure of a degree course. Fees for Non-Award must be paid up-front as non-award students are not eligible for Commonwealth Support.

Applicants should read the information in the guide below prior to applying. Information on individual subjects can be obtained from the University of Canberra Handbook.

If you wish to seek admission into a Bachelor degree through non-award studies, you should contact the University of Canberra College to ask about their pathway programs.
