Alternative Entry to UC
The University of Canberra has a number of entry initiatives that give applicants the opportunity to gain entry via alternate pathway programs and specific schemes.
- Credit Transfer Agreements for specific courses or with specific institutions can be viewed in the UC Articulation Database
- Foundation Program is a pathway to tertiary studies and an academic support service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
- Gap Year Plus is a program that allows students to gain academic credit at the University of Canberra for demonstrated learning that occurred over the course of their Gap experience.
- Pathways to UC The University of Canberra has a number of entry initiatives. There is a University of Canberra pathway to suit each individual student.
- Principal's Recommendation Scheme provides current school or college students with an opportunity to secure an offer to the University if recommended by their principal.
- Special Consideration can be given to applicants with any form of disadvantage which may have impacted on their prior study performance.
- UC Accelerate offers up to two university units to Year 11 and 12 students. Capable students can experience tertiary studies and University life while still at school.
- University of Canberra College specialises in preparing both Australian and International students for study at the University of Canberra.
- University of Canberra English Language Institute offers English Preparation Programs.
