Casual Client Services Officer

Are you looking for a casual job that works around your study? The student centre offers casual staff between 10-20 hours work per week, a competitive hourly rate and flexible shifts from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Position Description

Operating under general direction, the Client Services Officer (CSO) will contribute to the efficient operation of the Student Centre (SC) operations by providing advice to current and prospective students and University staff on a wide range of Student Administration functions. The CSO will also process data through the student information management system Callista. On a rotational basis, the CSO will be required to administer office processes at the SC Enquiries Desk and the Contact Centre and may be required to assist in other Student Administration areas such as Admissions, Enrolments/Fees and Graduations.

The CSO will assist with new student enrolment and other associated activities during O-Week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and advice on a wide range of Contact/Student Centre procedures and processes.
  • On a rostered basis, respond to student enquiries and utilise the Student Management System (Callista) for on-line processing and data retrieval;
  • Using appropriate computer applications provide general support on a rotational basis to the SC Enquiries Desk and the Contact Centre and other Student Administration areas as requested.
  • Undertake other duties appropriate to the level as required.
