Accommodation FAQ

The University of Canberra and its Bruce (Canberra ACT) campus accommodation providers are pleased to offer guaranteed accommodation for new and continuing international students.

Q. I'm interested in living on-campus. When should I apply?A. You should apply for on-campus accommodation with the University of Canberra Village or Weeden Lodge as soon as you feel that you would like to study at the University of Canberra. The Village is run by Campus Living Villages on behalf of the University.

Q. Do I need to organise accommodation for when I arrive in Canberra?A. Yes. If you have not organised accommodation for when you arrive in Canberra you need to organise this as soon as possible.

Q. What if I have been given a room on campus?A. If you have been allocated a room on campus, you can move into your room on or after the check in date. If you plan to arrive before the check-in date (see your offer letter) you must notify the relevant accommodation authority directly.

Q. What if I would like to look for off-campus accommodation?
You can visit our off-campus accommodation page which provides a list of temporary/short term accommodation, rental property, share accommodation and homestay.

Q. What should I do if my flight is delayed, I dont arrive on time or miss my flight?

A. If you have booked a airport or bus station pickup and miss your connecting flight or will arrive late, please contact the pickup driver on 0412746467 (in Australia) or +61 412 746 467(from overseas).  Alternatively, you can email the driver on
