The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) is the premier sporting body under the Australian Federal Government overseeing the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) site.

The Residences are a Program under the Site Services section of the Commercial and Facilities Division of the ASC. The ASC Residences are a rich and diverse sporting community predominantly focussed on providing accommodation to elite Australian athletes joining the AIS scholarship program and a variety of short-stay visitors attending sporting camps, national sporting organisations, sporting clubs and associations. We also welcome a variety of school, local and international groups attending events on site.

The AIS under its scholarship program plays a prominent role in developing and preparing Australian athletes and teams for various local and international competitions. It provides scholarships to around 700 athletes participating in 38 sports programs across 29 sports. We house a number of AIS scholarship athletes who live and train here on a long-term basis.

Limited accommodation is available for University of Canberra students at the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) Residences. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers a quiet, non-smoking and alcohol-free student environment only 5 minutes from the University of Canberra.

What you get:

• Single room accommodation including a bed, desk, cupboard, shelves, sink and bar fridge.
• Breakfast and dinner, seven days per week, served in the Australian Institute of Sport
  dining room.
• Shared access to a common room containing couches, microwave oven, kettle and TV.

Fee Option 1: $320 per week

Full year contract with single upfront payment of total annual fee.

45 week contract from 30 January to 9 December 2012.

Fee Option 2: $330 per week

One semester contract with single upfront payment of total semester fee.

Semester 1: 24 week contract from 30 January To 15 July.

Semester 2: 21 week contract from 16 July to 9 December.

Fee Option 3: $340 per week

One semester contract with payment by monthly instalments.

Semester 1: 24 week contract from 30 January To 15 July.

Semester 2: 21 week contract from 16 July to 9 December.
