Homestay for Students

ELICOS students in Canberra

What is Homestay?

The University of Canberra Homestay Program gives University of Canberra students the opportunity to live with an Canberra host family. It is most popular amongst International Students as it allows them to practise their English in a very natural and relaxed context. It also gives the students an extra level of support upon first arriving in a foreign city.

You can Homestay either

  • Full Board or
  • Part Board.

  • Female students will not be housed with single men.
  • You should give your host families at least two weeks notice if you intend to move out.
  • You should expect to pay a bond of $480.00 when you move in. Please refer to our Prices page for details.
