Candidates in higher degree by research programs are required to:

maintain enrolment in the appropriate subject(s) for the course (coursework, full-time thesis subject or part-time thesis subject) throughout the program, including re-enrolling by the due date each year or each semester, unless approval has been granted for Leave of Absence.

From 2008, students' annual progress reports (completed in October) encompass student enrolments.
