Scholarships
The University of Canberra offers higher degree by research scholarships to enable suitably qualified students to undertake full-time study towards a research higher degree. Selection is based on academic merit and research potential. These scholarships are tenable for up to three years for a doctorate by research or up to two years for a masters by research. Applicants must indicate they wish to study full time to ensure they are assessed as eligible.
The Research Students' Office administers the application process for domestic and international applicants and manages the administration processes during the tenure of the scholarship. Please see the Scholarships Flowchart (PDF) for a detailed view of the scholarship assessment process.
Information on scholarships offered for higher degree by research study by a broad range of institutions and organisations can also be found on the JASON website and the DEEWR website.
