The Research Students' Office (RStO) oversees the management and awarding of Higher Degrees by Research (HDR).

The RStO's responsibilities for Higher Degrees by Research students include:

  • admissions: domestic and international
  • enrolments
  • administration of candidature
  • examinations
  • scholarships
  • central HDR policy: including development and review
