How to Apply for Courses commencing in 2012
Instructions for Students
- Approach your principal for the Principals' Recommendation Application Form
- Select a course from the list on the form or from this website
- Apply for your chosen course through UAC, making the University of Canberra your first preference. You must write down your UAC Application number, because you will need this for your Principals' Recommendation Application Form
- Complete and sign the form and have the form signed by your parent or guardian
- Hand the form back to your
principal so he/she can send it to the University of Canberra by 30 September 2011.
- If you are successful, you will receive an offer from the University in the UAC Early Round in December for courses commencing in Semester 1 2012
Note. Handing your application form in will not guarantee you an offer. You will not find out whether you have been successful or not until December and your success will depend on the correct completion of your form, and whether you have put the University of Canberra as your first preference in your UAC application form.
Instructions for Principals
- Approve the students for the Principals Recommendation Scheme based on your belief that they have the ability to succeed at university.
- Once the form is complete and signed, email and scan page 1 of the application form to: principalsrec@canberra.edu.au
- Principal's Recommendation Scheme application forms must be returned to the University of Canberra, either by e-mail or post by September 30 for courses commencing in the following academic year.
