Welcome to the Professional Management Programs 2008 Short Course Series!

I am pleased to present PMP 2008 short course series of high quality short courses.

Popular courses such as Accounting for Non-Accountants, Confident Communicating, Economics for Non-Economists, and Springboard Women's Development Program are available again this year alongside some new offerings such as Impressive Job Applications and Interviews, The Power of the Positive, Developing an Employee Value Proposition and Integrating Corporate Values into Recruitment. We have also renewed our licence with the Department of Finance and Deregulation to present the successful Budget and Financial Essentials series of modules.

PMP has courses for leaders, aspiring leaders and people who want to do their job more effectively. Our courses cover the broad range of organisational and individual needs at all levels and across all sectors. Our collaborative partnerships with groups from the public and private sectors have improved the content and the delivery of established courses as well as identifying new courses to meet changing socio-political environments and internal cultures of workplaces.

PMP courses for Managers and Leaders covere key learning and development areas and include: Emotional Intelligence at Work, Influencing and Persuading, Managing Risk in Organisations, Scanning Your Strategic Environment, Effective Supervision, and Leading Small Teams & Remote Management Expertise. Facilities and Administration

The PMP administrative team and training facilities are located in the impressive UC Innovation Centre within the leafy grounds of the University of Canberra. There is ample free parking on campus, onsite gourmet catering, modern training facilities and a dedicated team of Client Service Officers to look after participants and presenters alike.

Our purpose-built training rooms, Boardroom and videoconferencing studio house the latest technology in communication and training aids.
