Australian Department of Finance and Deregulation

The Australian Department of Finance and Deregulation in association with PMP proudly presents:

Budget and Financial Essentials

The Department of Finance and Deregulation has taken a more active role in the provision of training to the Australian Public Sector with the launch of the Budget and Financial Essentials program since April 2005. Professional Management Programs, in partnership with the Department of Finance and Deregulation, have now trained more than 3,780 people throughout the public sector.

The program aims to help raise the Australian Public Sector's understanding of the Australian Government's budget processes and financial framework.

After a tender process, the Department of Finance and Deregulation has renewed the licence for PMP to present the successful Budget and Financial Essentials (BFE) series of modules for APS staff in 2007 & 2008. The BFE program is chock full of valuable and practical information about the Australian Government’s budget processes and financial framework.
