Privacy and security of information has become an increasingly important concern in the electronic environment. As technology becomes increasingly sophisticated, it is vital to conduct activities with awareness. Some pertinent issues include:

Your responsibilities

As a user of a UC access account, you agree to take responsible for any activity, transaction or publication of information which originates from your account.

This responsibility includes:

  • Not disclosing any password or access code associated with their UC access account to any other person;
  • Not allowing any other person to use your account;
  • Acting in a way which may prejudice the security or integrity of your UC access account;
  • Strict adherence to laws relating to copyright, intellectual property, and the ownership of data, information and software;
  • Strict adherence to laws relating to harassment, discrimination, defamation, breach of confidence and the protection of personal privacy.
