27 August: Recently appointed University of Canberra Alumni Manager, Leigh Watson has called on staff to participate in the 2008 - Distinguished Alumni Awards.
The awards were launched in 2001 to acknowledge University Alumni who have ‘made a difference’. This year the awards enjoy extra prominence as part of the University of Canberra 40th anniversary celebrations.
“It is important to recognise and applaud outstanding achievement – and these awards honour our graduates and recognise the difference so many of them make to the local community,” Ms Watson said.
