27 March 2007: For the University of Canberra Music Society, ‘any dream will do’ for their upcoming performance of the famous musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
The ever-popular musical set in Ancient Egypt features Joseph, his 11 envious brothers and that famous coat as the Biblical tale unfolds to a memorable score by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Following the success of last year’s Les Miserables scratch day, the Music Society is once again bringing the music of musicals to building five this Sunday, 1st April.
Freya Bailes, assistant director of the society, will lead participants through Joseph’s memorable score including ‘Close every door to me’ and ‘Any dream will do’ before participants will exhibit their new skills in a free evening concert for family and friends held at 6pm.
A number of solos are available for those with vocal prowess, and general registration for the scratch day is a 9.30am in the Library foyer.
To lend your voice to the enchanting songs from Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat email Dr Bailes or call 6201 5011.
