UC lecture: Mick Dodson discusses Indigenous constitutional recognition

15 July 2012: University of Canberra honorary doctorate recipient Professor Mick Dodson delivered a lecture on the constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at the University recently.


The lecture on 11 July covered the Federal Government’s promise to hold a national referendum on the constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders before the next election.


The lecture titled ‘Prohibition of racial discrimination in the Australian constitution’ was part of a lunch-time public lecture series by the ANZSOG Institute of Governance at the University of Canberra.
