Tourism awards
Outstanding students in the University’s tourism program were recognised at the fifth Annual Student Awards night on 2 November, with $10,000 in prizes on offer and a chance to meet leaders in the industry.

It’s not often that mentors get the opportunity to experience the life of those they are teaching, but one such mentor in the UC media and communications department did exactly that when he graduated last month.

Manager of the media and communications department and editor of the Monitor, Edward O’Daly graduated alongside former journalism interns, Jason Tozer and Jacquelyn Curtis.
