Edward O'Daly

Before joining University of Canberra as editor of Monitor, Ed worked in the ANU media office, where he was editor of the staff newspaper and produced news and features for a range of other ANU publications. He also wrote media releases and did "lots of other wordsmithing".

His background is in journalism, working for a local paper and then a national business paper in his native UK before moving to Canberra in 2003. He has a broad work experience, highlights of which include working as an English teacher in China and a shop assistant at Harrods in London.

Ed is married (to an Australian, hence the move) with two young children, which is why he drinks so much coffee.
