Team secures grant for imagination and education project

University of Canberra researchers are part of a team that have secured a twelve month seeding grant of CDN$24,838 from the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) for a project that will build international partnerships in imagination and education.

The project,   "Building an international research network in imagination and education" is a collaboration between The University of Canberra Learning Communities Research Area, the Imaginative Education Research Group (IERG) at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada and twenty-two international collaborators. In total there are six Australian academics from three universities taking part in the project.

University of Canberra researchers Dr Thomas Nielsen and Professor Noel Gough are pleased to be part of the international project and see the collaboration as an incentive and opportunity to build further research capacity and teaching capability in the broad area of imagination and education.
