Design and architecture staff to showcase works

University of Canberra will hold an exhibition of works by staff from the School of Design and Architecture next week.

The exhibition, Continuous, will showcase works from across the design and architecture streams taught at the University and will demonstrate the continuum of practice of artists and designers within the school.

Exhibiting artists include Julie Bradley, Anthony Cahalan, Pam Debenham, Dianne Firth, Anita Fitton, Bob Miller, Dawn Porritt, Elvis Richardson, and Mary-Jane Taylor.

The exhibited work includes mixed-media/collage, photography, typography, textiles, new media and painting and is evidence of the energy, vitality and innovation of staff in the School of Design and Architecture at the University of Canberra.

Curated by Johanna Owens, Continuous will be officially opened by Barbara McConchie, Executive Director of Craft ACT at 6pm on Tuesday 2 May 2006 in the Design Gallery in Building 7, School of Design and Architecture at the University of Canberra.

Continuous is open to the general public from 10am-4pm Monday to Friday until 15 May 2006 in Design Gallery 7, level A, building 7, University of Canberra.
