UC Faculty of Health Mobile Clinic
Professional, Affordable, Accessible
The University of Canberra’s Mobile Health Clinic will provide new clinical placements for students along with treatment and care for patients who may not have access to some health services due to cost, travel required or service availability.
The University’s Faculty of Health will provide low cost health services, initially in Nutrition and Dietetics, and, in the near future, in Midwifery, Physiotherapy and Pharmacy. The mobile clinic will be staffed by highly trained postgraduate students and their qualified professional supervisors.
The project is modelled on the University’s popular and successful on-campus Faculty of Health Clinics which integrate the provision of allied health services and student learning.
