Undergraduate Courses for International Students

The University offers the following undergraduate courses to international students:

Undergraduate Awards

  • Associate Degrees Typically two year courses full time, or part time equivalent. If you wish to continue your studies later by taking a related Bachelor degree, you will be given credit for units successfully completed in your Associate degree
  • Bachelor Degrees Typically three year courses full time, or part time equivalent.
  • Double Bachelor Degrees Typically these courses require four years full time, or part time equivalent, after which you are awarded two Bachelor degrees.
  • Bachelor Degrees with Honours. These are generally one year courses requiring the presentation of a research thesis. Honours degrees are available to students who have performed outstandingly in an appropriate Bachelor degree.    .
  • Undergraduate Diplomas in Languages (Chinese, Japanese or Spanish) which can be taken at the same time as one of our Bachelor degrees, but require an extra year to complete. You are awarded a Bachelor degree and a Diploma.

Course Electives

A number of undergraduate courses of the University offer elective majors of units to students. An elective major can often be undertaken in a faculty other than the faculty administering a student's course. Use the Majors and Minors links to view what combinations are available.

Units (Subjects)

Each course is comprised of a number of units. Some units are required for a course, while others are open to choice.

Please note the following abbreviations:

INT-F2F: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode (check with unit convener for time of lectures, tutorials etc.)

INT-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching in intensive mode with online teaching

ONL: Online delivery only (no face-to-face teaching)

Face-to-face: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, supported by material on Moodle, our online teaching system.

STD-F2FO: Face-to-face teaching with lecturers, tutorials etc, and online teaching.

Fees

All course fees are in Australian dollars. There will be no fee increases for the duration of the course except where students extend their course.
