This page provides links to online tutorials for various aspects of your research. More tutorials will be added in the future.

UC Library tutorials

  • Pilot online information literacy tutorial
    - This online information literacy tutorial provides undergraduates with the skills and tools to find and manage information effectively. Choose one module to suit your needs or complete all six. Try the test to see if you're ready for your Pilot licence...
    -  Each module will take 20-45 minutes to complete
  • Finding journal articles
    - A 5 minute tutorial focusing on the techniques of searching databases for appropriate articles for your research
  • Academic Integrity Module: on target with referencing
     - A self-paced multi-step module produced by UC's Academic Skills Program.  This module is designed to familiarise students with the definition and importance of academic integrity, including the conventions of citing sources in different disciplines

Most Library databases provide comprehensive help within their screens to assist you with searching for your information.
