Use the  Research Gateway to find information using Library resources that are chosen and maintained by UC Librarians for University of Canberra students. The gateway includes UC subscribed databases and Australian and International resources on the Web.

Please note that most of the databases and e-journals are available only to UC staff and students.

These Guides provide access to online and print resources to assist in researching for assignments. Guides can be chosen from the alphabetical listing or from the list of tags. Subject Guides give information about books, journal articles and websites, as well as tips for using these resources.

Select the database you need from the Databases & Other Online Resources alphabetical listing.

E-Journals & Newspapers

• Search for a known journal or newspaper title – by ‘starting with’; by ‘exact title’; by ‘ISSN’ to check if available in fulltext at UC. Use ‘more options’ on the results screen if your journal (or date) is not available online to check if available in print at UC or in another library.
• Use Citation Linker if you have the details of an article in a journal
• Select the News link in the left frame to discover the resources available through the Library for current affairs or history
• Browse e-journals & newspapers by title A-Z, and browse e-journals by subject.
