Assistive technology for clients with a disability

The UC Library has an Assistive Technologies room on Level B (entrance level).  The room is located on the rear wall of Level B, behind the loans desk and to the far left corner of the floor.  There is a booking sheet on the door and information about the use and booking of the computers.  You will need to be registered with the Disabilities Office to enter the room with a specific swipe-card.

There are 4 PCs in the room, a printer and a scanner.  Software includes: WYNN, JAWS, DRAGON and ZOOMTEXT.

Other equipment includes lockers (key available form Disabilities Office, on payment of a deposit); internal telephone, and an emergency buzzer.

The room will sometimes be booked for supervision during exam periods.
