The mission of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) is to shape and support the teaching and learning objectives of the University.

 

Led by DVC(E) Professor Carole Kayrooz, the office prides itself on being open, approachable and welcoming in providing leadership and support to the University's academics and students. Our staff balance freshness and vitality alongside wisdom in creating a caring, compassionate and nurturing environment for this support. 

 

Our team members come from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and their combined knowledge and experience gives strong support in delivering our five core education activities of:

1. Monitoring the quality of teaching and learning
2. Supporting academics to educate students
3. Assisting student learning
4. Building communities of practice within UC and the broader community
5. Maintaining both internal and external communication
