Digital Lecture Recording Service
ITM offers a service for recording lectures in many Category A teaching spaces. When using the online lecture recording system, the lectures are recorded digitally using the Echo360 lecture capture system.
The recording captures the computer (in house or laptop), visualiser (document camera) & audio signals.
Lecture recording is available in the following rooms:
2A6, 2A12, 2A13, 2A14, 2B2, 2B4, 2B7, 2B9, 2B11, 5C58, 6B10, 6B11, 6B45, 6C34, 6C35, 6C36, 7A52, 7B10, 7B13, 9A1, 12B2, 12B50, 14B1 and 22B19.
Access to lecture material
If your lecturer has arranged lecture recording for your subject you may access the recording via the subjects Moodle site.
- Log on to Moodle & go to the subject you wish to view lecture recordings for.
- Recordings are accessed via the Echo360 block in the Moodle site for each teaching unit.
About Echo360
The EchoSystem rich media player includes a full-motion replay of course visuals synchronized with the instructor’s voice for a highly engaging experience.
By using Adobe® Flash technology, students on Windows, Mac and Linux platforms can replay lectures on any browser without client software downloads.
Lectures are also accessible via iPod/iPhone & MP3 player.
