As part of the University's PC lease replacement program, in 2012 ITM will be providing all new issue PCs with the Windows 7 and Office 2010 - an upgrade to the present Windows XP and Office 2007 software configurations. 

Approximately 1100 staff PCs are due for lease replacement in 2012 - roughly half of all staff PCs.  This approach to lease replacements will continue in 2013 to allow the University to complete the Windows XP to Windows 7 upgrade process in advance of Microsoft ending support for Windows XP in 2014.
