How to Apply
Indigenous students are able to apply directly through the Ngunnawal Centre on campus if they wish.
Otherwise:
- if you are a school-leaver please apply through UAC or
- if you are not a school-leaver you may apply directly through our application portal (see below)

Apply Direct to the University of Canberra
Non School Leavers
If you are no longer studying in Year 12, you can apply online for undergraduate courses. These applications are assessed individually and take into account post year 12 employment and studies.
Applicants of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Descent
Apply directly to the University for the Ngunnawal Foundation Program if your current qualifications are not adequate to allow studies to commence in an award course. Please contact the Ngunnawal Centre for any further information about applying to the University of Canberra.
UC Accelerate Students
Apply direct if you have successfully completed the UC Accelerate program and are applying for undergraduate courses.
Postgraduate degrees by coursework
Applications for Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Master Level Course can be submitted directly via the Apply Online Now link. Applicants are also able to apply through the UAC (Universities Admission Centre). Alternatively you may use our Direct Applications Form.
Apply via UAC (Universities Admissions Centre)
School Leavers
Applicants for undergraduate courses should apply through the Universities Admission Centre (UAC). Check the UAC Website for details of courses available and when to apply.
Postgraduate degrees by coursework
Applications for Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Master Level Course can be submitted directly via the Apply Online Now link. Applicants are also able to apply through the UAC (Universities Admissions Centre). Alternatively you may use our Direct Applications Form.
Postgraduate Research Courses
